While the rumors of SINGH IS KINNG getting postponed [since Akshay's dubbing is still pending] has been refuted by Vipul Shah, there's talk that Ramgopal Varma's CONTRACT might be pushed to August for a different reason completely. Reportedly, RGV's advisors feel that clashing with a feel-good film like KISMAT KONNECTION on July 18 would hamper the prospects of CONTRACT. "I am not bothered," RGV tells me, "In my earlier years, when I was just an avid moviegoer, I would go by my instinct. If a film excited me, I would rush to a nearby theatre. If not, I would ignore it completely. If the audiences find CONTRACT exciting, they would go for it, irrespective of how strong the opponent is."
