Verbal combat at the 'Screen Awards' The Star Screen Awards this year has been in the news more for being a battle arena than an awards show. This time director Ashutosh Gowarikar & brother sister duo Farah & Sajid Khan had a public argument on stage at the awards function. The Star Screen awards last week saw a huge fight between host Sajid Khan and Ashutosh Gowariker on stage. The spat got messier once the host, Sajid's sister Farah joined in. The whole thing started when the host, Sajid Khan decided to rag new directors on stage, which of course did not go down too well with Ashutosh Gowariker, who lashed out at at Sajid in fury telling him to shut up. Ashutosh went on to say, " Fun can be made even by me, but you cannot make fun of a star on this podium." Just when one thought things could not get any worse,  big sister Farah sprung to Sajid's defence hammering Gowariker a little more. Farah Khan jumped into the fray and took a pot-shot at Ashutosh saying, "Ashutosh thought he would get an award for Jodha Akbar thats why he didnt tell Rehman the awards are today. You are coming to get all the technicians awards yourself. I think you've told them it is tomorrow." As an evidently stunned audience looked on, the scene turned into an all out fight.All this took place just minutes before Akshay Kumar walked out when he knew Hrithik was getting the best actor award.   ... full story »
