With remixes and remakes mushrooming every single day, the remake of the classic television serial Mahabharat is the latest to join the league. Ekta Kapoor's new age Mahabharat reflects a clear generation gap with the older B R Chopra's Mahabharat. It seems gods on TV will now come buffed, with bulges in the right places if serial-makers are to have their way. Ekta kapoor's latest version of Mahabaharat seems to be replete with modern day influences including the designer look her characters don in the show. The chiseled biceps and six pack abs are far cry from the earthly characters of its earlier version.Unlike the current ones, the earlier mythological shows didn't lay onus on actors with desirable bodies.
