Tahaan to have its North American premiere at Palm Springs Film Festival Shot in the beautiful Kashmir valley, the film about a little boy and his donkey will have its North American Premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival which takes place between 6th and 19th January 2009. Founded in 1990, by then Mayor Sonny Bono, the PSIFF is one of the largest film festivals in North America.

Tahaan has also been a part of internationally acclaimed festivals since its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2008. These festivals include: The Rome Film Festival, The Cinekid Film Festival, The Pusan Film Festival, The BFI London Film Festival, The Amazonas Film Festival in Brazil and the Olympia International Film Festival in Greece where it won 3 awards.

Tahaan stars an ensemble of distinguished actors such as Anupam Kher, Sarika, Rahul Bose, Rahul Khanna and Victor Banerjee. The film's script was the official script selection for the prestigious 'Pusan Promotional Plan' at the 2007 Pusan International Film Festival.
