Street Kings--Keanu Reeves is back
Get ready for some loaded action as Keanu Reeves is back and has brought with him his latest asction packed flick 'Street Kings'. Welcome to Los Angeles where Detective Keanu Reeves and LAPD cop Forest Whitaker come together to rule and cleanse LA in a way you've never seen before.
Keanu, "I felt that he was a soldier, you know, and some times a soldier is told to go do something, and he goes and he does it. But he is not part of why he is there. The director talks about violence, that it is a necessary thing, and we have to respect that."
Forest, "I think David did a lot of research on a lot of things that would be real in a movie, and there are a lot of advisors of the film, Kates was actually in the film, so there seems to be an embracing of the authenticity of whats inside of it."
David Ayer, "I think this film is different because the detail gone into it the level of reality."
This action flick captures the cop culture in LA and promises plenty edge of the seat thrills with the butch and trigger happy undercover cop and detective going all out in chases, gunfights and colllisions.
David Ayer, "And its also very very very present day, it has an awareness of time, and an awareness of present day, and at the same time, a timelessness which is very hard to achieve."
Police action has always been a juicy theme but the lukewarm response to street kings in the US has dampened spirits..hope indians enjoy watching LAPD bend and break the rules!!!
