Television's most popular 'bahu', Smriti Irani, has finally decided to step in to the big bad world of Bollywood as a producer. Smriti will produce her first film (a comedy) in joint collaboration with leading production house UTV. While the cast is yet to be finalized, Smriti isn't willing to reveal too much on who will be holding the directorial reins of this venture. However, writers Kamlesh Pandey of Rang De Basanti fame and Imtiaz Patel would be writing the script. The film will be entirely shot in India and would be a different kind of a comedy which Indian cinema has never ever witnessed.
