Speculation is rife that ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney could soon tie the knot with his girlfriend Nancy Shevell. The 47-year-old New York heiress' sudden turning into a vegetarian, in what appears to be an apparent bid to impress 66-year-old McCartney, has fuelled the speculation, according to a report in the 'Daily Mail'. In fact, Shevell, who has a penchant for crocodile handbags and steak, is said to have even changed her political views for her liberal lover. "Nancy has toned down her super-Republican views and given up her beloved steaks, which shocked us. When they travelled around America this summer, they lived on avocado sandwiches and tomato soup. Now Nancy orders veggie food all the time," one of her friends was quoted as saying.  She has been dating Sir Paul since last year. Theyhave been photographed holidaying together, in the Caribbean and on a romantic road trip in Britain. Recently the couple also attended an official engagement together when last month he brought her to a charity event in London.  Shevell is legally separated from her husband of 24 years, Bruce Blakeman, and they are said to be negotiating the final terms of their divorce.
