Looks like the relase of 'Singh is Kinng' on the eighth day of the eighth month proved to be lucky for the cast and crew of the film. Singh may not be the king of the box office yet, but for the moment the movie 'Singh is Kinng' is definitely geeting good turnout out in terms of audience responses. The much awaited Akshay Kumar starrer has had the grandest opening so far this year.When asked how he felt about the the film's success so far, Akshay Kumar, who plays the lead role in the movie said, "I feel really good and great about it. I would just like to thank the audience and the media for such a good response to the film and appreciating the fact that it is a good film." 'Singh is Kinng' producer Vipul Shah added, "To get a result like this for a such a long and hard effort is is something. It's fulfilling and satisfying."To celebrate the movie's success so far, the cast and crew of 'Singh is Kinng' threw a huge party, which was attened by quite a few veteran actors and friends of the movie's stars. Among the guests spotted at the event was Former cricketer Wasim Akram, who said, " I haven't seen the film but Akshay is a good friend and I'm sure the movie will do very well. So I'm here to celebrate the success of the movie."         Also spotted at the bash was lyricist Javed Akhtar. When asked about what brought him to the celebration and what he thought of the film,  he said, "I'm very happy that Akshay has made a successful film. Akshay is my friend.  Somehow I think it was known even before its release that the film was going to be a hit."With the turnstiles churning and the cash registers ringing, the cast and the crew of the movie is truly on seventh heaven and definitely has a good reason to be so.Other guests at the event included actors Neha Dhupia, Sonu Sood and Kirron Kher.The film seems to have lived up to the hoopla and the hype and with the way things are it might just about turn to be one of the biggest blockbusters this year.By Shreyoshi Dutta ... read more »
