Looks like the small screen space is hotting up with bollywood biggies trying to woo the audiences in their quest for ratings. After SRK and Amitabh battling against each other on television, it's time to witness another star war, that of Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Comparisons are bound to be made especially with Shahrukh's "Paanchvi Pass" which has not really set the ratings chart on fire. But Salman is as confident as ever. So, for the quiz master, the test started on Friday night (June 6). Prior to the start of the show, the host Salman Khan spoke exclusively to the press and said, "Chota parda parlog attract kare kitna mushkil hai" (Salman repeating question before thinking long and answering jokingly) "Itna muskil hai ki aap mujhe attract karne ka" (How difficult is it to attract people on the small screen? Just as difficult as it is for you to attract me) It seems that the bad boy of bollywood taking his new venture head on. He is all set to ask tough questions on "10 Ka Dum", however, on Thursday night (June 5) Sallu answered some priceless answers for the press. Making his first debut on television, Salman said, "Television is a fantastic medium. There were people in Bollywood who were hungry. Some people have made it big in Bollywood who started off with television." But, at the same time, Sallu is sure he has what it takes to make it big on the small screen, even waiving suggestions of getting celebrity guests on his show. When quizzed whether he would request celebrities to make an appearance on his show, Sallu said, "On the contrary, I am asking them not to make an appearance on my show." His overconfidence has even made him dismissive of any threat from other Bollywood stars on TV. In fact, he didn't hold back from singing SRK's praises. Praising SRK he said, "He's an amazing person. He's very hardworking, very professional and very clean." But his admiration for the Bollywood Badshah doesn't stop there. Here's what Sallu had to say when asked why he was keeping his hair short. He said, "Actually, I want to be like Shah Rukh. I'm his biggest fan. If you want, I can cut my hair. Actually, I want to be like Shah Rukh." It looks like Salman Khan doesn't need to throw any challenges to his competition from Bollywood. An indication that perhaps as a quiz master he'll have all the answers.
