She may still be known as Saif Ali Khan's ex-girlfriend, but now Roza Catalano is all out to carve a niche for herself in Bollywood. She has made her big Bollywood debut, however, not as an actress but as an item girl. Considering the fact that she has Italian roots, the moot question is how will she dance to tune of Hindi songs. When quizzed about the same, she replied in broken Hindi that her Hindi is not too good but she just manages to sail through. Though, making an item number debut might not be considered the best way to enter Bollywood by many, however, Roza Catalano feels that being an item girl is not that bad. "In most of the Bollywood movies, there are at least four songs. Music is an integral part of Bollywood and I am not scared to bear an item number tag." When asked about how she prepared for the part of an item girl, especially with regard to carrying off an Indian costume, Roza Replied, "It wasn't easy, but like I said, everything is an opportunity to learn, to understand, to grow, and especially, if you are working and you have signed projects in Bollywood, things are different." She further added that Bollywood steps are difficult to master, but classical dance is a different ballgame altogether. I'm very lucky to have Saroj Khan, who's choreographing this song. She is very precise and knows the exact expression she wants to see." In addition to the item number, she is also doing a dance reality show. She has also signed a few roles -- a movie with Partho Ghosh, for which shooting starts in April 2008, among others. With all the work in her plate, we wonder what is going on in her professional life. When quizzed on the same, she said:"I am a person, who likes to read, likes to sit at home and have chai. May be look at the moon, look at the stars. Honestly, I have not done that for a long time. I have been really working hard and I like it. I love it and I asked for this, so right now I am concentrating on the project I have signed.
