A controversy sex tape involving the original seductress of Hollywood Marilyn Monroe has been bought for 1.5 million dollars by an unidentified New York businessman. The sale of the 15-minute silent, black-and-white film was arranged by Memo-rabilia collector -- Keya Morgan from the son of a dead FBI informant, who sold it to a wealthy Manhattan businessman who wanted to protect Monroe's privacy.
The film is believed to be part of then FBI Director J Edgar Hoover's tapes on President John F Kennedy's relationship with Monroe. Morgan claimed that he learned of the film's existence while working on a documentary on Monroe who died in 1962 at 36. Morgan said that he confirmed it by tracking down the son of the FBI informant, who had provided a copy to the FBI.
Infact according to FBI files on Monroe available on the FBI website, one of Monroe's ex-husbands, the late baseball great Joe DiMaggio had once tried to buy it from the collector for 25,000 dollars who refused to sell it. An FBI spokesman has declined to comment except to point out the Monroe files available online, which refers to the film but make no mention of Hoover's purported interest.
Keya Morgan -- Memorabilia collector said, "100% you can see the mole on her face, you can see her distinct features she has. But she is not looking at the camera at any time. She doesn't look at the camera one time. Therefore I don't know if she knew she was being recorded. She may have not known. She does not look at the camera at any time."
He added. "It's a great investment, number one. Number two, documented and verified by the FBI, by Joe DiMaggio who saw it and was very upset. He tried to purchase it for 25 thousand (U.S.) dollars back in the 1960's but they did not want to sell it. It's been verified not only by me as one of the number one experts in Marilyn Monroe and the producer of this documentary, but also by Joe DiMaggio the FBI and many agents." ... read more »
