Viviek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Shriya Saran, Suniel Shetty and Director Apoorva Lakhia were all in the capital on Thursday (July 24) evening for a special Mission. Yup you guessed it, the release of 'Mission Istanbul.'
When TIMES NOW caught up with Director Apoorva Lakhia and some of the actors and quizzed them about the film's release, Apoorva said, " As of now the mission is to show my film for the first time to everybody who's here and I'm pretty excited about it." In addition actors Vivek Oberoi and Zayed Khan said something reiterrated the director and said that they were excited about the films release and hoped the audience and critics would like it.
The film based on terrorism premiered amidst much fanfare in the capital, but what stole the show was not the star power but their connection with the fans that too by throwing film goodies at them.
The stars were pretty susprised at the kind of response the film's release got from fans. When quizzed about how she felt about the fans whop had showed up at the premier, actress Shriya Saran said, I love Delhi, I mean when I entered the entire hall was filled with people. It was Fantastic to see that." Suneil Shetty added, "The biggest high is the kind of applause, the kind of love and affection you get." A disbelieving Apoorva Lakhia could not hide his astonishment at the huge turnout for the premiere. He said, " It is unbelievable. There were around 30, 000 people here. In Mumbai it would be difficult to push 300 people but this was unreal."
The crowd reaction may have left the stars stunned, but now they will just have to wait an watch for the kind of reaction 'Mission Istanbul' will get from the audience at large. ... read more »
