Post the success of Chak De India, apart from the 16 girls who overnight climbed the popularity charts, there was one more person who all of a sudden came into the limelight. We are talking about none other than former India hockey player and coach of the women's hockey team, Mir Ranjan Negi. Negi assisted and trained Shah Rukh and his team of girls during the making of the film. What's more, he was even seen in a blink and miss role in the film. Post the release, Negi became a well-known figure and even appeared in the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 2. Now, Negi would next be seen playing the role of Mumbai's Municipal Commissioner in Sunil Shetty's upcoming project Mumbai Chaka Chak. The film is based on keeping the city of Mumbai clean and Negi's character would be an important one in the context of the film.
