'My Friend Ganesha 2', a sequel to the film by the same name released last year, is all set tohit the big screens on August 22.Interestingly, kids will see an English speaking Ganesha attired in T-shirt, bermuda shorts, a hat and has a guitar in hand. He also sports a 'swastik' tatoo.This time he will be accompanied by his companion, the mouse on his latest sojourn among mortals.Speaking to the media, the film's director Rajiv S Ruia said, "While making the first part, I and my writer Sachindra Sharma decided that if the film becomes a hit, we will go for its sequel. Now we are already working on part three."In the sequel, the elephant-headed god is invoked by a young boy belonging to a very modern family and hence Ganesha's westernised attire is because of how the young boy visualises him to be.The movie features animated characters, Ganesha and the mouse.
