Sweety Seth, a contestent on the Shah Rukh Khan's 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai' on Star Plus's triumph was short lived when her moment of fame on small screen landed her in big trouble.This contestant, who won one lakh rupees on the show, is actually a con-woman, who even has an FIR against her.Sweety and her mother Renu are the kingpins of a racket that duped innocent women of 1.5 crore rupees through a kitty party.Ranbir singh, DSP of the Punjab Police said, "A case was has been filed against Reenu Sethi for the fraud and she was traced on the reality show Paanchvi Pass."Sweety who was not traceable for long was finally spotted on the reality show Paanchvi Pass on June 8."I know Reenu Sethi quite well. I was also duped by her though it was a small amount but they were fradulent. I was duped of Rs 21, 000," said Anita Sehgal, a victim of the Kitty racket.With the filing of the FIR against Sweety, it's surely going to be tough time ahead for reality contestants who might have to go through stringent conditions before being eligible; else they might have to pay the price for fame.  ... read more »
