A New York judge has ordered 50 Cent to hold off selling the property where a fire destroyed his $2.4 million home.The property is at the center of an ongoing lawsuit between the rapper and his ex-girlfriend, who living at the home with their son. Police said they were investigating the fire as suspicious.
A judge has told bad boy rapper 50 Cent that he may not dispose of the Long Island property where a $2.4 million house was destroyed by fire two weeks ago, The Associated Press reported.
Justice Carol R. Edmead of State Supreme Court in Manhattan also ordered him to put insurance proceeds in a trust account pending the outcome of his dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins. Shaniqua says 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, promised her a house a decade ago, but recently wanted to evict her and their 10-year-old son, Marquise, from the house in Dix Hills, on Long Island.
