Controversial Tamil actress Khushboo faces tough times after the Madras High Court rejected her appeal to quash over two dozen cases pending against her. Khushboo faces as many as 26 cases, filed by various pro-Tamil outfits for her remarks allegedly denigrating Tamil women in an interview on pre-marital sex to a leading weekly magazine in September 2005. All cases have  been transferred to the Chief Metropolitian Magistrate's court in Chennai and directed that the trial be completed in six months.
